Occultation will start at July 13 already. The shadow will cross central Europe at the first minutes of July 14. Therefore the header of the map reads July 13 23h 37m to 24h 19m.

The UCAC2 gives a „pseudo-R magnitude“ of  11.3 mag

The max duration is expected to be 4.6 sec with a max drop of  4.5 mag.

In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 0.8 mag to 11.6 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) .

The max duration is expected to be 14.3 sec with a max drop of  0.8 mag.
