Station Map for the Occultation by (71) Niobe at Monday, 2009 August 24 (~ 00:02 UT)

V-Magnitude of target star TYC 2934-00106-1: 9.4 mag
Johnson B-V Colour Index: + 1.1
The UCAC2 gives a „pseudo-R magnitude“ of  9.2  mag

The max duration is expected to be 2.8 sec with a max drop of  3.8 mag.
The event will take place at an altitude of 27 deg and at azimuth 56 deg. The sun will be at an altitude of -23 deg. (At predicted centre line for longitude E 20 deg 32 min)

There is a 1 sigma uncertainty interval of  ± 0.53 path widths.
The probabilities to see a positive event:

Centre line: ~  65 %
Path limits: ~  47 %
1 sigma lines:  ~ 16 %
2 sigma lines: ~ 2 %

(Calculation according to Raymond Dusser, E.A.O.N. Circular #10)
