Kallichore is a satellite of Jupiter and a flyby target of ESA’s mission JUICE!

Following a successful single-chord detection in December 2025, supported byHST astrometry and recent GTC observations, the prediction accuracy has significantly improved, making this event one of the best opportunities to obtain amulti-chord occultationbefore the JUICE flyby.
The occulted star has a magnitude of approximatelyG ~ 11.9, which is relatively favorable. However, the event remains technically challenging due to itslow altitude (~10°)andshort duration (~0.24 s).
We strongly encourage observers along and near the path to participate. Evennegative observations are extremely valuable, as they help constrain the orbit and refine the shadow path.
