Binary asteroid!
Bright star!
Raphaël Lallemand (GAIAMOONS) wrote on Planoccult on Aug 20:
The main body is 120 km wide, with a satellite around 15 km minimum. The minimum occultation duration should last at least 0.4 s. We recommend an maximum exposure time of 100 ms, the lower the better. You can record 1 min after and before the event. The uncertainty for the satellite’s position is ±500 km around the centrality. All observers are invited to contribute, the maximum of probability is the south of France.
